My fingertips are in agony today. They got the blues. They hurt. Badly.
It’s the price you pay for not playing that guitar every day in combination with a gig now on Saturday. For Save the Children. On short notice of course. Only three days get back in gear.
But gears are not the problem, fingertips are.
So I send a thought of thankfulness to the inventor of surgical tape. Without it life would be even more painful. And if you don’t believe me just ask my left hand fingers.
So thank you, whoever you are and wherever you are.
